EMDR Intensives
Focused Trauma Processing
EMDR intensives offer a focused, accelerated approach to trauma therapy for clients who are ready to go deeper or move through specific experiences more efficiently. Instead of spreading EMDR sessions out over several months, intensives allow for extended, uninterrupted time to engage in the full EMDR process — from preparation and resourcing to active reprocessing and integration.

Many clients choose an intensive when they feel “stuck” in traditional weekly therapy, want to address a particular memory or issue, or prefer a more immersive healing experience. Intensives can be especially helpful for high-functioning professionals who are managing demanding schedules and want concentrated time to focus on their healing without long breaks between sessions.

Each EMDR intensive is tailored to your goals and may include:
-
A personalized intake and history-taking session to clarify your focus areas
-
Preparation and resourcing work to help you feel grounded and ready
-
EMDR reprocessing sessions using bilateral stimulation to target distressing experiences
-
Closure and integration time to ensure you leave feeling centered and supported
This structure allows us to move more deeply into the work while maintaining the safety, pacing, and collaboration that EMDR requires. Clients often describe feeling like they made “months of progress in a few sessions.”
What is EMDR?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy originally developed to help people heal from trauma and distressing experiences. It uses bilateral stimulation — such as eye movements, tapping, or sound — to help the brain process memories that have become “stuck” in the nervous system.
When those experiences are reprocessed through EMDR, the emotional intensity of the memories decreases, and new, adaptive perspectives begin to take hold. Many clients find that EMDR helps reduce triggers, anxiety, and shame, while strengthening a sense of calm and self-trust.
Rates & Availability
I offer several EMDR intensive formats ranging from shorter, focused sessions to half-day and full-day options. Because each intensive is tailored to your specific needs, goals, and readiness for the work, rates can vary.
Intensives are offered on a limited basis to ensure that each client receives attentive, high-quality support. If you're interested, I’m happy to talk through the different options, what might be most appropriate for your situation, and what to expect in terms of cost and scheduling.

EMDR intensives are available for both new and current clients. The format and length vary depending on your goals — some people complete their intensive in a few extended sessions, while others prefer a full or half-day approach.
